LGBTQ History Month

Celebrate LGBTQ History Month with The Student Life Multicultural Center!

There are multiple ways that the Ohio State University celebrates LGBTQ history month including programming, visibility campaigns, and educational events. LGBTQ month is focused on both developing a sense of community within the LGBTQ and allied groups as well as reaching out to the entire campus and Central Ohio community to educate about current issues that bridge all communities and bring us all together as one University.

Thanks everyone for coming out to celebrate LGBTQ History Month 2017 - "Reflect, Resist and Resilience"!

A meditation on the many challenges facing our LGBTQ communities, we encouraged queer and allied folks to look back at where we have come from as we practice resistance today. Through it all, resilience is key - do the work and take care of each other, so that we might build a strong frame for the next queer generations.

LGBTQ History Month Features a wide range of programs including National Coming Out Day (NCOD), and  our featured Ace Awareness Week. Be on the lookout for themes and events for LGBTQ History Month 2018 at the beginning of fall 2018.

We hope to see you there!
