This is a session for First Generation College Students (broadly defined as anyone whose parents never completed college). In this session we will learn about the inherent strength that comes with being a first generation college student. The first portion of the session will be listening to three first generation graduate students tell their stories of working through college. The second portion will focus on identifying strengths and coping skills that one’s first generation identity inherently provides. Come eat, listen, and learn!
