Building on the pioneering efforts of other interfaith open discussion groups, Common Ground Columbus offers structured, hour-long weekly open discussions with topics selected by a facilitator. The topics are new every week and are sent to participants via email, groups and social media.
The facilitator is also an equal participant in the discussions. A unique feature of Common Ground Columbus is that the contributions of the facilitator are informed by inclusive, timeless teachings from the ancient Sanskrit classic, Bhagavad-gita.
All people regardless of spiritual path (or lack thereof) are warmly welcome, their time and presence are appreciated, and are encouraged to share equally. As we dedicate our ears and voices to one another and to the common ground we share, we experience natural satisfaction, empowerment and happiness.
