Taking Care: Strategies for mental health and well-being

Location: Barbie Tootle Room - Ohio Union 3rd Floor

This session will provide information on resources across campus including an overview of services at Student Life’s Counseling and Consultation Service. The presenter will provide a didactic overview of CCS and other resources to support mental health. The audience will participate in an exercise meant to increase awareness of self-care strategies and discuss well-being from the perspectives of graduate and professional students. This session will include time for Q&A.  Lunch will be provided.

After this presentation, attendees will be able to:


  1. Describe and identify multiple resources on campus to support graduate and professional student mental health.
  2. Identify and respond to personal stress.

Communicate to and encourage other students to seek strategies and support for mental health.
