Sustained Dialogue is a student organization at Ohio State that is also supported by the Multicultural Center and Social Justice Engagement initiatives.
Sustained Dialogue (SD) is a tool that helps students make time to understand the different perspectives of individuals they otherwise would not meet. Engaging in such important conversations not only enables them to interact comfortably with all kinds of people, but also helps build relationships across community divides. SD equips students with communication, leadership, and professional skills necessary for increasingly diverse academic, social, and work environments.
They host a dialogue session every other week in the Multicultural Center and will also host some of our Alonso Family Dialogue Series programs.
For more information, feel free to contact SD President Sarah Tibbitts (email@example.com).
This event also counts for 2 DICE Credits toward your DICE Certificate if you attend at least six SD meetings throughout the year. More information about DICE and how to earn credits can be found here: go.osu.edu/dice.
