Food Strategies for Mental Health


Time: Thursday, September 19, 2019 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Location: Younkin Success Center, Rm 150

A four part workshop series to help students learn strategies to use food for improvement of mental health.

This will include an overview of strategies, in addition to a sample food list, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and address barriers to using food strategies to improve mental health.

This workshop topics include:

(Week 1) Food strategies to improve Depression
(Week 2) Food strategies to improve Anxiety
(Week 3) Food strategies to improve Focus
(Week 4) Exercise and sleep strategies for mental health


These topics will rotate throughout the semester.
