MLK Jr. Speech Filming Project
January 12, 2009 (11:00 am - 2:00 pm)
Location: RPAC Fireside Lounge Lower Level
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. inspired many for peace and unity in his day and continues to do so 40 years after his assassination.
Come join the MCC as we pay tribute to Dr. King Jr. through an impromptu filming of faculty, staff and students reading and enacting his speech, "I've been to the Mountaintop."
YOU can be an active participant and contribute to his legacy! Stop by and read an excerpt -- takes only a couple of minutes -- and then you can watch yourself along with many other OSU voices reading through the whole speech on a film on the MCC website on MLK Jr. Day.
Filming will take place at the Fireside Lounge at RPAC, lower level, on Monday, January 12, 11am - 2pm.
Special thanks to RPAC for sponsoring the space!
