For more than fifteen years, Dovie Thomason has shared the time-honored traditions and stories of the Native Americans she represents. The Kiowa Apache and Lakota tales she heard as a young child were 'lessons intended to teach proper behavior without punishment or confrontation,' as the characters faced the same choices in their lives as she did in her own. Passing on these 'blueprints' for establishing values and making choices comes naturally for Dovie as she gently dispels false images of the First Nations People of North America and replaces them with traditional stories to which all cultures can relate.
