Kick Off Celebration, 31st Annual African American Heritage Festival
April 25, 2009 (2:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
Location: South Oval, Rain Site: RPAC - Special Events Gym
Kick-Off Celebration marks the beginning of the Heritage Festival with events such as the Carnival, Health Fair and other various performances. The carnival will be a fun filled community event with food, inflatables, raffles, arts and crafts, face painting, and booths for makeovers to highlight our theme of Beauty. The Health Fair will help one to understand their health status financially, personally and emotionally. There will also be performances from all genres that will provide entertainment for all audiences.

OSU Latinos Giving Back To the Community for Días de Los Niños

Location: OHIO Hispanic Coalition (1982 Velma Ave, Ohio Historical Center 43211)
One of the main goals and purposes of Alpha Psi Lambda is to reach out to the community. Come join the Noble Brothers and Sisters as we volunteer at the OHIO Hispanic Coalition for Días de Los Niños. It is a day of activities, music, dancing, programs and displays that are appropriate for children of all ages. Anyone interested in volunteering, contact Caceres.9 for more information. We will be meeting in front of the Hale Center at 11:30 to start volunteering by Noon. Be ready to volunteer, give back, and feel good about helping the Columbus Latino community!
