Student Leadership Awards

Each year the Student Life Multicultural Center partners with the Center for Student Leadership and Service at the Ohio Union to recognize individual students and student organizations for their leadership and commitment to creating and sustaining programs, events and activities that foster diversity and intercultural impact here at The Ohio State University.

About the Annual Ohio State Leadership Awards

The Ohio State University has recognized hundreds of students, advisors and organizations who demonstrate personal and organizational leadership, collaboration and commitment to better our Ohio State community. It is our honor to celebrate the people who strive to make a difference on our campus through our annual Leadership Awards Celebration! The Center for Student Leadership and Service at the Ohio Union in the Office of Student Life is proud to sponsor this program each year with generous support from Coca-Cola. The Student Life Multicultural Center sponsors the "Diversity Engagement Award" and the "Outstanding Diversity Program Award." 

Diversity Engagement Award

This award is designed to recognize a student who has demonstrated a significant commitment to creating and sustaining programs, events and activities that foster intercultural impact as a part of ongoing efforts to create a globally engaged citizenry among students at The Ohio State University. The award seeks to recognize the efforts put forth by students that create deeper understanding of diversity and social justice to create intercultural understanding and skill development.

Outstanding Diversity Program

This award is designed to recognize a student organization program that has demonstrated a significant commitment to fostering intercultural impact as part of ongoing efforts to create a globally engaged citizenry among students at The Ohio State University. The award seeks to recognize the efforts put forth by a student organization program that creates a deeper understanding of diversity and social justice to create intercultural understanding and skill development related to the five distinct categories listed below.
