Attention: Unfortunately we are unable to process any more grant proposals for the 2018-2019 school year. Please check back in the fall to learn more about grant proposals for the 2019-2020 school year.
The Student Life Multicultural Center is pleased to assist in sponsoring many different kinds of events and programs! Students, staff, faculty and community members are most welcome to contact us to discuss how we can assist in supporting events, including a donation of our space, marketing events through our diverse networks, offering staff time to facilitate events, program consultations around diversity and inclusion and collaborations.
Collaborative Programming Grant Proposal Process
This year, the Student Life Multicultural Center welcomes one-time grant proposals up to $700 for programs, events, exhibits, performances, workshops, conferences and other activities that align with our mission and values. The MCC typically awards funds for requests that demonstrate collaboration with Ohio State faculty/staff, SLMCC staff members and students around diversity and social justice initiatives.
- The Collaborative Programming Grant Application must be completed and submitted at least three weeks prior to the start of the program
- Decisions will be communicated by email to the applicant
- Awardees of the grant must complete and submit a final report 30 days after the end of the program
For all granted sponsorships, we request that SLMCC branding be included on all marketing materials. Contact our office's Marketing Specialist, Kit Lewis at email@example.com, with questions about how to include SLMCC branding on marketing materials for your specific program or event.
