g to join a family and to have ample doors of opportunities open up to th
em\, academically and personally. New students are paired with continuing
students who serve as a resource and assist them through their first yea
r. Throughout the year\, the APIDA Cohort hosts various workshops centere
d on professional\, social and individual (PSI) programming with each cat
ering specifically to the incoming Ohio State student. Student mentors he
lp to facilitate each session\, plan social outings\, coordinate small gr
oup discussions and serve as mentors to group participants. The cohort me
ets on Mondays from 6 - 7 p.m. in the Multicultural Center.\n
