The 45th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration is a special pre-Black History Month tribute to Dr. King. This event will feature Dr. Angela Davis, political activist, academic scholar and author with a special gospel tribute to Dr. King by the African American Voices Gospel Choir at The Ohio State University and a candlelight vigil to Dr. King by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Kappa Chapter.
This event is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion's Frank W. Hale Jr., Black Cultural Center; Student Life Multicultural Center, the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, African American and African Studies, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Kappa Chapter.
