Experience Sankofa brings together first year students who identify with the African and African American experience, in addition to other campus partners and allies. This program is designed to empower first year students to develop strategies and build mentoring relationships with other students, faculty and staff as a means of navigating their first year at OSU.

The focus for the Sankofa Celebration is to learn more and celebrate the legacy of the black Buckeye community and understand collective responsibilities within it. Additionally, participants will discover how the Sankofa Leadership Cohort can be a valuable resource and source of community throughout their first year at OSU.

Dinner, catered by La Glory’s Café, will be offered free of charge for all attendees.
