The Sankofa Mentorship Program is centered around the critical examinations of history, forward progress and principles of the African term Sankofa; meaning to go back and get it; to fetch or to seek. The purpose of the Sankofa Mentorship Program is to provide professional support for career and leadership development, provide opportunities to build collaborative relationships through volunteer and service-learning activities, as well as provide individual and group mentoring to enhance holistic development. The Sankofa Mentorship Program will meet virtually every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6 p.m.
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Katherine Betts. Requests made two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
