APIDA Peer Mentorship Program
The APIDA Mentorship Program is a hybrid peer/community mentorship program, meaning students seeking a mentor may choose to seek a peer mentor, or an individual who is a staff, faculty, alumnus, or community partner. This program is grounded in relationship building through mentorship to help students adjust to college life on Ohio State's main campus or to get connected to the Central Ohio APIDA community.
The program focuses on our mentors and mentees' unique leadership skills to foster the tools and resources that create a soundation to building a strong APIDA community here on campus and beyond. Each student-mentee is paired with a mentor based on shared interests, academic path, and other personal or professional goals. The program actively engages mentees and mentors in their community, both on and off campus, to give students a space to meet others who share common identities, passions and interests.
You will learn more about yourself and the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) identity, helping you discover the interests and spaces that you enjoy most here on campus while offering support and guidance along the way.
Information about applying to serve as a mentor, or registering as a mentee, will be posted in mid-September. Check back!
