The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Cohort is a Student Life Multicultural Center program that focuses on developing personal identity, leadership skills and community building. The program actively engages the APIDA student community by collaborating with student organizations and community members to provide space to discuss current issues around campus and the nation from an APIDA, intersectional perspective.
Each week we engage in a new topic, often facilitated by our student members, and topics range from current events to historical inequities to harmful stereotypes that continue to impact the APIDA community today. We welcome all APIDA identifying students to come together and build community through both engaging in critical dialogue and sharing your own unique experience as an APIDA Buckeye. Please join us! For more information, contact Sophia Antoun.
APIDA cohort meets via Zoom every Monday at 6 p.m. and is a drop-in space. You can join the Cohort by visiting visiting go.osu.edu/APIDACohort.
