LGBTQ*mmunity is a weekly group for students who are new to LGBTQ+ life at Ohio State, or who have been here awhile and are looking for community. Whether you’re a first-year student, transfer student, newly out, or need help connecting to OSU’s LGBTQ+ community, this group is for you!
LGBTQ*mmunity provides space for LGBTQ+ students to connect and engage with each other in a supportive environment. Weekly meetings delve into topics such as campus and community resources, exploring identities and intersectionality, living authentically, self-advocacy, and more. We encourage folks to come every week, but you are welcome to drop in whenever you can!
LGBTQ*mmunity meets on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Multicultural Center’s Alonso Family Room.
Note: This gathering is not an appropriate forum to fulfill class requirements for projects, papers, or other assignments. To find a program that could work for a class assignment, check out our calendar for anything that has a title followed by “DICE.”
