LGBTQ First Year Q*mmunity
The LGBTQ First-Year Q*mmunity (FYQ*) is a group for students who are new to LGBTQ+ life at Ohio State. If you’re a first-year student, a transfer student, newly out, or need help connecting to OSU’s LGBTQ+ community, this group is for you!
With the guidance of student peer leaders, FYQ* provides space for LGBTQ+ students to connect and engage with each other in a supportive environment. FYQ* includes topics such as campus and community resources, exploring identities and intersectionality, living authentically, self-advocacy, and more. We encourage folks to come every week, but you are welcome to drop in whenever you can!
FYQ* meets on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Multicultural Center’s Alonso Family Room.
