Free HIV/STI Testing

The Student Life Multicultural Center (MCC) partners with the Student Wellness Center (SWC) and Equitas Health to offer free walk-in HIV and STI testing (chlamydia/gonorrhea/syphilis). This year, there are new updates regarding the HIV/STI Testing. 

  • SWC Student counselors will no longer provide HIV testing due to the updated protocol from the Ohio Department of Health
  • Equitas Health will offer HIV and Syphilis testing in the Student Wellness Center:

    Wednesdays: 4:30-8:30 p.m. 

    Thursdays: 4:30-8:30

  • Both the HIV and Syphilis testing will use the whole-blood finger stick method

All are welcome! Campus community members can test for HIV antibodies by in a safe and secure location inside the Student Wellness Center (SWC). HIV test results are provided within 20-40 minutes. All walk-in testing is on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

During spring semester, testing will be offered during the following days and times:

In the Student Life Multicultural Center located on the first floor of the Ohio Union
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing:

Monday: 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. 

Tuesday: 4:30 -8:30 p.m.

In the Student Wellness Center located on the first floor of the RPAC

Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing:

Wednesdays: 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. 

Thursdays: 4:30 -8:30 p.m.

These test are performed by SWC student counselors using a urine sample.
